Really surprised by how nice Lake Quinsigamond State Park is. Everything feels clean and relaxed, and there’s plenty of space to just hang out or take a walk.

Very nice State Park right on Lake Quinsigamond. Lots to do here. I love walking around the perimeter. Picnic tables, a pavilion for large parties. Athletic fields, tennis courts, beach access and just a nice place to sit and have lunch.

Wonderful park on Lake Quinsigamond in two parts - The Regatta Park, with a boathouse, clean sandy beach (operating with lifeguard between Labor Day and Memorial Day), picnic tables, tennis courts and ample (paid or permit) parking. The Regatta Park is visible from the bridge on Rt 9 between Shrewsbury and Worcester. The Lake Park section is also amazing, with walking trail, boat/canoe ramp, track and field, public toilets during park hours. No bikes or motorized vehicles permitted.

The park is so conveniently located at the junction of Shrewsbury and Worcester. It provides a nice lake view and so many conveniently placed benches and grilling stations. In the morning, the walking path was full of morning walkers. The football ground seemed to be recently renovated. There is a separate pavilion and its own parking and entrance. It can be used for any small gathering. There were so many benches to sit and relax and most of them facing towards lake - and some of the boats 🚤 with bright light and song 🎵- people were having good time. When we visited on 8/24/2023 - the bathrooms were closed / locked.

One of two parks on the shore of Lake Quinsigamond, this is the one that I would recommend. Regatta Point is great if you have a boat. Otherwise, come here. Parking is free and there is an extensive walking path as well as a small beach. There are plenty of trash cans around and there are even bags to pick up after your dog. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms and the area can get a bit muddy. It’s a great place to skip rocks in the summer, or to throw rocks out on the ice in the winter.
